Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that Russian defenses destroyed eight drones attempting to enter the city during the night of December 24-25.
According to Sobyanin’s Telegram updates, the first four drones were intercepted around 2:00 a.m. Additional drones were reportedly shot down at 2:06, 2:08, and 2:20 a.m., bringing the total to eight.
This follows an earlier drone attack on December 14-15, during which 15 drones were reportedly downed by Russian air defenses amid explosions in the city
