Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has declared that Iran achieved a comprehensive victory both militarily and politically in its recent conflict against the United States and Israel. Speaking during a gathering with parliamentary journalists, Ghalibaf asserted that while the outcome did not involve destroying foreign military forces, it represented a monumental strategic triumph because adversaries failed to accomplish their core aims.

According to Ghalibaf, the U.S. and Israel initiated hostilities with nine officially declared and specific objectives, yet failed to realize any of them at any operational level. He characterized this inability to meet stated goals as the absolute greatest defeat for Washington and Israel. Furthermore, the top Iranian official pointed to diplomatic outcomes, including a memorandum of understanding with the United States, as a proud testament to Tehran’s success on the international stage. Ghalibaf acknowledged that the public has sometimes struggled to perceive the full scale of the triumph, placing responsibility on media narratives to properly convey the magnitude of the country’s resilience and diplomatic standing.
