The United States military is taking a fiercely aggressive stance in the Western Hemisphere, with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth unveiling a blunt new motto for the Americas Counter Cartel Coalition (ACCC): “We do bad things to bad people”.
Speaking during a high-profile visit to the jungle operations training course in Panama, Hegseth outlined the administration’s uncompromising approach to dismantling transnational criminal syndicates. Addressing regional security, the secretary emphasized that criminal networks and drug cartels operating across Central and South America will face direct military pressure.
“For too long, bad people did bad things to good people inside the United States of America and across Central and South America,” Hegseth stated. “We’re going to empower great Americans and great partners to do really good stuff and be very capable about bringing violence against drug cartels and designated terrorist organizations, because we’re dead serious about securing the homeland.”
The newly announced coalition framework aims to unite regional allies in a synchronized military and strategic push against narco-terrorists. Describing the cartels as the equivalent of designated terrorist threats, the administration is pushing to utilize advanced targeting and tactical capabilities to systematically dismantle drug trafficking networks and secure borders.
